Anam Croí’s Shop (formerly known as Never Too Old Charity Shop) directly supports our Day Centre and Housing services. Our management team and dedicated local volunteers work to provide the funding for support services for older people in Claregalway and the surrounding areas. Our shop stocks great bargains and lovely gifts for all the family, including clothes, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, giftware, furniture and household items with something to suit all budgets.

Shop Donations Needed
Looking for a way to give back to the community while decluttering your home? With every donation, you are helping to support our services for older people in our community. Plus, your donation gives a second life to your gently used items, reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
Whether it’s clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac, books, craft supplies or anything thing else you can think of we accept a wide range of donations.
We also offer a furniture collection and delivery service for larger items, please contact us on 085 261 5247 for more information.

We kindly ask that all donated items are in saleable condition.
Donations we are unable to accept:
Unfortunately, there are a few items we cannot sell due to health and safety reasons or because they have no resale value. They would have to be sent to a landfill and would cost us a large sum of money to dispose of. These items are:
- Baby furniture or equipment: (No buggies, car seats, cots)
- Electrical Goods: (Except for lamps and small new appliances)
- Bedding: No mattresses, bed frames, duvets or pillows
- Toys: No broken toys or soft toys (excluding baby soft toys)
- Helmets: We cannot accept helmets, used or new for safety reasons
